Available Positions

The following positions are available at Webfoot Technologies right now. Applicants who have experience in more than one area are desirable.

Pixel Artist

A bitmap artist with the ability to create GUIs, textures, backgrounds, icons, sprites, and animations for a variety of platforms (from PC to small devices such as GBA and mobile). Deep understanding of technical details: powers of 2, transparencies, anti-alising, color palettes, memory, storage, etc. Ability to work with technical tools, cvs, subversion, sprite editors. Ability to contribute to game design documents and create mock-up artwork. Strong art background. Extensive experience with Photoshop a must. Must be a self-starter, a non-complainer, and work well with other team members. At least 3 years professional experience and commercially published game projects required.

3D Artist/Animator

Extensive experience with 3D Studio Max and 3D Character Studio required. Should fully understand vertex and bones animation, animated textures, vertex lighting, surface normals, lighting, bump mapping, and all other fundamental 3D concepts. Should be able to make low-poly models for mobile devices. Must be a self-starter, a non-complainer, and work well with other team members. At least 3 years professional experience and commercially published game projects required.

Programmer

Extensive experience with C and C++ a must. Should have a portfolio of libraries and game engines, with an emphasis on reusable code and logical organization. A good understanding of OpenGL, DirectX, Renderware, timers, data structures, file formats, and different operating systems. Ability to program with severe memory and speed limitations. Ability to conceive and develop tools. Must be a self-starter, a non-complainer, and work well with other team members. At least 3 years professional experience and commercially published game projects required.

Project Manager/Producer

The ability to lead others effectively from the beginning to the end of a small or large project. Should have a good technical skill set. Must be a self-starter, a non-complainer, and work well with other team members. At least 3 years professional experience and commercially published game projects required.
